Hello, I'm Tom Leese and welcome to Maida Video. The company was founded in Maida Vale during the summer of 2020. Though now predominantly based in Surrey, available for work across the UK.
Working at a news agency for almost 13 years, I began with three years of filming before becoming more edit-focused. After a decade, I am now a versatile filmmaker, who has shot everything from red carpets and live streams of royal events, to weddings and PR-organised launches.
I have been a qualified drone pilot for nine years, shooting the likes of Wembley Stadium, Twickenham and much more. Droning adds extra value to an edit, and another element that gives viewers the added dimension they seek. Although the art is gaining in popularity, I have experience on high-risk shoots that many other pilots lack, while still achieving shots to wow an audience.
